Brief

It is safe to say we really enjoy working on photoshoots for our clients, so when Myzone approached us about producing a fresh bank of imagery to accompany their brand update, we were ready and raring to go.

The primary focus of the shoot was to capture the social, lifestyle side of using the Myzone app, using ‘real’ relatable people. With Myzone being an international brand the imagery had to work on a global level requiring a diverse selection of models and careful consideration around clothing. We were also briefed to find a location that had a bit of an industrial feel but wasn’t too dark, challenge accepted.

Solution

We hit the ground running, initially looking for a location that met the bright industrial feel. Being based in the South West there are a lot of old industrial buildings no longer in use, so we were sure to find something suitable just a stone’s throw away. Low and behold we came across the beautiful Royal William Yard in Plymouth, which provided a variety of locations to use. Next we sourced the models ensuring to have a diverse range of ages and ethnicities, this is something we achieved with the lovely Juliette, Gemma, Charlotte, Nathan, Roger and Neil.

Finally, we put together an extensive shot list, planning is key to a successful photo shoot.
Over the day shoot, we worked with our good friend, photographer Anthony Greenwood capturing a range of in and outdoor shots. A mix of exercise and lifestyle based imagery with a strong focus on the social aspect.

The result from the shoot was bang on the brief, with the first debut of the imagery at FIBO in full display at the Myzone stand.
